Wyndham Fairfield Timeshare Can I Get Out?
I am afraid I bought into one these seemed perfect for my Daughter and live in Mich and economy is tight 0 plus a month they also told me maintenance fees and all would be included then I get a bill telling me they are charging 0 maintenance plus and 1.5% in fees I filed a grievance with them or sent it in then I get a 0 more added I keep say no but in just 5 months they now say I owe 6 before I can even try to use it that and I still owe about ,000. I just changed to a new credit union so I am thinking of just stopping the payment can I do it? can they put a lean on my house? and of course Credit I guessing they can put something on that but I have heard they can’t even do that does anybody know I hate to loose about 00 but it might be the smartest thing.
too add I pulled up my Credit report they are not reporting anything at the moment positive or negative all my payments have been made this is more about the maintenance fees and the excessive penalty if anything they should help me or allow me to rent it with them getting there money 1st. but it would be cheaper to loose now and re buy somebody else headache
Thanks for the help but I found my own answer I will be contacting the BBB they have had great success at resolving this matter for most people that have filed with them here is the info I found as it relates to central florida Wyhndam

Sadly you’re in a contract and it’s all legally binding. It’s a mortgage, just like the one on your house so it’ll affect your credit very badly if you default. It’ll be difficult to sell with such a high outstanding balance but it’s worth a try, you can try websites like http://www.timesharesonly.com to advertise it for sale. The big problem here will be your outstanding balance on the loan. Default is an option, but you’ll take a bit credit hit. Sorry the options aren’t better. Good Luck
i am afraid you are stuck with it — you best bet is try to cut you lose and sell at any price!!!
Before you do anything, go to http://www.tugbbs.com and ask your question there. This website is the timeshare user group bulletin board.
Most people on there own timeshares and have lots of excellent advice. It is a great resource and I know they will help you find the best solution to your problem.

Just go there, and post your question and ask for urgent help. Someone will probably respond same day.
(I recently bought a timeshare and decided to cancel within the 10 day cancellation period, thankfully. tugbbs.com was a huge help.)
Check it out and best of luck to you.
