What I a Timeshare?

I see all these things… Then today some man at the mall tried to sell me one…

    With timeshare, you pay for the right to use a property for a given period of time per year.

    For example, you could get a timeshare condominium, where you are paying to be able to use it for 2 weeks per year. During the rest of the year, other people who have also bought a timeshare at the same place will be staying there.

    Timeshares give you an opportunity to have a place to live in a "touristy" area, even if it’s just for a few weeks a year. Now, as for if it’s a good thing or not, I’ve never had one, so I couldn’t say.

    Dodgy!!!!

    It just means the for two weeks of a year you own an apartment in some holiday destination…. Here’s the catch you have to go back their every year to get some value out of it.
