Super Widescreen Display – Trading Applications

We loaded up Bloomberg TV, Reuters and RealTick to see how a trader might use the Radius320. The Radius320 combines three 20.1 inch LCDs to produce a seamless wrap-around 50-inch screen with 5.76 million pixels (that’s HDTV x3)

Wow that’s crazy. I think I’d be just as happy with 3 or 4 wide screen monitors, will cost a lot less too.

I truly believe this is what are tv’s will be looking like about 10 or 15 years from now. Is all going to be about curved tv’s and curved monitors.

I’ll stick to my 3 – 50″ inch Flat screen tv’s. I only payed $900 for each and its 100 times bigger than this. At $116,000, the company is making about $115,000 in pure profit. This is a rip off.

Damnn… you have 3 50″ hooked up together. jaja Nice… do you use that set up for trading or for watching TV or other things, etc?
I would like to see THAT set up.

Also the prices of damn good 22″ widescreen LCD monitors are so good now that you can get 3 22″ Widescreen monitors for like around $500 dollars I think.
Making that monitor just crazy at that price.

Very interesting. Our system has been killing the markets. We have 2 systems – swing and day trading. Takes 5 minutes a day. Only a couple losing weeks since November 2009!

@apotheosis21 Re-read what I wrote and you’ll quickly see that I didn’t say anything about the price tag of the system in the video.

Only an idiot would pay $116K for this thing. Just get three giant LCD monitors for $1000 total. All you get with this thing is no line in the middle between the monitors.

Maybe you should research how to price things!
