DO NOT listen to DVCResale and his timesharesonly.com information – he must work for them and has an interest to send you there. He needs to stop giving biased advice to promote his business. Do a Google search on that company along with the word "scam" and you will see what I mean.

Check out http://www.tug2.net – this is a free forum for timeshare owners. They have classified ads as well.

I also recommend checking out http://www.redweek.com or http://www.myresortnetwork.com for resale as well.

You can always try to sell it on eBay too. This can provide results as well.

NEVER pay a company, such as timesharesonly.com, a hefty "fee" with their empty promises of "taking it off your hands" or selling it for you. They will just put an ad on their website and let it sit. They also tell owners’ they can "get more" for their timeshares – which is NOT true. They lie and misrepresent to get that high fee from you.

The best way to sell any timeshare is to advertise it for sale with a reputable agency.

Also, make sure that agency has potential sources buyers can go to for financing.

To resale or rent a timeshare is a hard task, the basic rule is not to pay money up-front, don’t be another victim of a scam.

Unfortunately over 50% of people that really need to sale their timeshare falls for this resale scams where they charge money upfront and less than 10% of them use their only real option wich is to post it or offer it trough free advertising options as much, and as many sites as they can (it is ok to pay a few dollars to post in a great place but no more that $20 to $30).

Timeshares do not have resale value and in most situations you would take a loss in what you paid for, as they resale for less than $1000 USD.

There are some free classified adds where you can start posting:
